Convolute Wheels for bench grinders are professional deburring tools capable of producing higher-quality finishes, in less time and with better wheel life than traditional grinding wheels. Consisting of an abrasive-grain-impregnated, non-woven, nylon strip, wound around a hard core, Convolute Wheels are non-dusting and have good edge durability. They are smooth-running, to decrease operator fatigue, and non-metallic and smear-resistant, to eliminate contamination and reduce smears. The nylon base conforms to the work preventing undercuts and gouges. Two of our most popular wheels are: Deburring (colored gray) and Metal Finishing (red). Deburring wheels are good for deburring pistons, valves and valve springs along with removing corrosion and light scratches from parts.
